Governance
The British Overseas School is a not-for-profit organisation. All parents of children attending the school are members of the British Overseas School Association. As such they have a voice in the governing of the school via the Annual General Meeting of BOSA and may be eligible to stand for election to the Board of Governors as a Parent Governor.
In addition to elected parent representatives, leading members of the local community are also appointed to serve on the Board of governors.
The BOS is the first and only school in Pakistan to be accredited as a British School Overseas. This accreditation is recognition of the standards to which we adhere in every area of our operation. It means that families accustomed to the British education system can join the BOS confident in their expectations.
